A full refurbishment of a Grade II listed manor house.
Stage one involved the a complete re-build and restoration of a collapsed stairwell using traditional stonework and lime mortars to the the listed building requirements. Oak-trusses were incorporated into the stairwell and the structure was re-roofed with traditional slate. In stage two a new kitchen extension was built with green-oak timber and reclaimed stone and roofed with traditional slate. The manor house was completely refurbished throughout with new lime-plaster and built new windows to match existing. New en-suite bathrooms were added to remodelled bedrooms. Attention to finishing included rebuilding oak doors and frames. A new kitchen was remodelled to a contemporary style including bespoke kitchen worktops and butchers blocks.
