COOKERY SCHOOL EXTENSION
StoneWood were brought in to add new extensions to the original building.
BRIEF
StoneWood built the original cookery school building, and when the business outgrew its existing footprint, we were brought in to build two new extensions to enhance the training kitchens.
WORK
After laying new foundations we built two new dining room extensions making use of the Dartmoor stone external wall as a new internal feature wall. We utilised Iroko panelling to match in with the original build. The project required a sensitive approach to on site building since the school was running training courses throughout. For the final stage we knocked through the old external walls to complete the link to the reception area and associated training kitchen. The project was completed on-time and within budget resulting in two quality extensions that look as though they were part of the original design.

TESTIMONIAL
“StoneWood excelled themselves with the completion of our extensions. They worked sympathetically throughout enabling us to continue to trade with minimum disruption to our customers. The quality of the building and finishing detail was exceptional, as I have come to expect from them. Best of all the project was well costed and came in on budget and within our timeframe. We are very happy with the outcome.”
